Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) are community-based healthcare providers that receive funds from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Health Center Program to provide primary care services in under-served areas.

About Position: Responsible for the overall operation of the HealthCenter in close coordination with the Center's management team.  Direct supervision of the administrative staff.  Insures develop and training of the administrative staff.  Responsible for the accuracy of data implemented into the practice management system to ensure maximum reimbursement for the health care center. Works in collaboration with the Center's management team to ensure a high patient satisfaction rate, minimum no show rate, practice is within budget guidelines, compliant with JCAHO standards.  Partners with the leadership team to determine the agenda for the monthly Center staff meetings and facilities the meeting.

  • Schedule: Monday 8:00 am - 8:00 pm, Tuesday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Wednesday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Thursday 8:00 am -8:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
  • Travel: 

Duties/ Responsibilities – 

  • Supervision of administrative staff.
  • Training and development of administrative staff.
  • Accuracy of data in Practice Management system to insure maximum reimbursement.
  • Collaboration with the Center's management team to ensure compliant with Budget expectations.
  •  Ensures facility maintenance and safety standards are met.
  •  Works in collaboration with management team insuring JCAHO standards are compliant.
  • In collaboration with management team insures optimal patient access and efficiency practices.         
  • Works with PHS PR representative regarding community outreach.             
  • Purchasing and Inventory control of administrative supplies.      
  • Partners with the Lead Provider to determine which provider is out and then establishes and maintains the patient schedule.
  •  Prepares in coordination with the Leadership team at each location the agenda for monthly staff meetings, facilities, prepares necessary documentation, agenda, minutes, etc.
  • Coordinates with outside groups regarding on site visits, tours, etc.
  • Performances all others duties as assigned.

Qualifications – 

Education: : Bachelors Degree with two years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Required:

Preferred: Preferred prior management experience of 2 or more years.  Teamwork, communication, planning, organization, decision making in a fast paced environment.

Pay Range - $53,827.00 - $62,400.00
