About Position: Assisting the Communication Department in the following items, including but not limited to.
- Work Location: Corp Admin Office
88 Vilcom Center Dr, Suite 110, Chapel Hill, NC 27514
- Schedule: Part Time (25 hours a week)
Open to discuss scheduling opportunities.
- Required Travel: None
Duties/ Responsibilities –
- Writing draft media releases, media alerts, and newsletters and assisting with various forms of communication.
- Assisting with the creation of promotional material for local events and community outreach.
- Working on various Piedmont Health social media platforms with guidance from the Communications Director.
- Collaborate in the creation of shareable social media content appropriate for specific networks to both spread our brand and our content.
- Applying graphic design elements.
- Working with local media outlets.
- Assisting with special event planning, organization, and communication coordination.
Qualifications -
Education: High School Diploma
Current/valid License: Licensed to practice dentistry in North Carolina.
Required:
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated skills in effective one-on-one and group communications and comfort with working with all levels of community leaders, volunteers, and staff.
- Proficient in multiple social media platforms with a command of each network and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities involving multiple entities.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team setting.
- Intermediate to excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of Canva.
Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish
**May have a combination of both education and experience
Pay Range - $15.15
