ACCOUNTANT II
PIEDMONT HEALTH SERVICES
FULL-TIME, BENEFIT-ELIGIBLE

JOB SUMMARY

Primarily responsible for Accounts receivable function, journal entries and Payable reconciliations, as will as Payroll and
Grants Management. Is the back up for General Ledger and Accounts Payable.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 BS/BA Degree in Accounting with 1-2 years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Ten-key experience

Reconciliation

Superior data entry skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

MIP Fund Accounting

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Microsoft Excel

Exceptional attention to detail

Microsoft Word

Payroll processing experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
Requires frequent sitting for long periods, operation of standard office machines and computer.  May require lifting of up to 25 pounds.  Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.  Requires the use of office equipment, such as computer terminals, telephones or copiers.  Requires normal vision range.  Work is performed in an office environment.  Contact with staff and external clients/vendors.

Must be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment.
